Best Ridgefield vocabulary?

So, social life in Ridgefield gave rise to just an embarrassment of riches in terms of linguistic innovation. Let me give some of my favorite Ridgefield-isms and then you all, dirt and non-dirt alike, can follow suit.

  • 3.2 = an expression for any short period of time ("Dude, don't worry, I'll be at the Sportman in like 3.2"); likely origin: Matt Glover
  • Poop butt patty = a general expression of disdain; likely origin: Joe "JMFC" Chicks
  • Nirva = short for "Nirvana," as in the band; origin: Joe Chicks
  • Hum babe = if you don't know this, you don't belong on this site

    I think that the word "dirt" needs to have a specific definition. Big Lou, help us out and come up with the ultimate dirt definition and post it.

    butt crack of dawn = early, early A.M.; a phrase potentially unique to Ridgefield?

    ooooh, good call, molly! last night tony eggertsen reminded me of another one. i have no idea how to spell it, but i'll invent a spelling:

    biernting

    as in, "ewwwww, gross. who just biernted?"
